  2. The tournament will be Double Elimination
  3. The latest version of the game will be used for tournament play, including new characters and balance changes.

  6. Game Settings: 3/5 Rounds, 2/3 Matches, 60 Seconds
  7. Winners Finals, Losers Finals, Grand Finals: 3/5 Rounds, 3/5 Matches, 60 Seconds

  9. Character Customizations: Off
  10. Character Preset Costumes are legal for Tournament use with the exception of the following:
    Jack-7 Preset 3 & 4 cannot be used.Gigas Preset 3 cannot be used.
  11. Players cannot use the same Preset. Should both Players wish to use the same Preset, they will play a Best-of-One Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine who may use their preferred Preset Costume for the duration of the Match.
  12. During a Match Set, the winner of a Match must comply with the following “Winner Lock Rules”: (i) during the first Match Set, each Player selects their character and the stage is selected at random; (ii) after a Match, the winner is “locked” into their character and they are not permitted to switch their character until/unless they lose a subsequent Match; (iii) all Matches are loser’s choice; and (iv) a loser of a Match may rematch with the current characters and stage, a rematch with the current characters and a new stage of his or her choice, or return to character select to choose a new character and new random stage.
  13. Any player found to be using any kind of macros or mod (frame bot mod etc) will be disqualified or banned from taking part in tournaments permanently.
  14. If the match is lagging then admins may request participants to share screenshots of your speed test. Any player with a weak connection will be disqualified.

Please note that more rules and changes could be added in the future

  1. If a match desyncs in between any round then players will have to restart their match with the same round count.
  2. Only one steam account per individual.

    Summary:

    Overall punishment and QoL improvements, with strong situations off punishers i10-i12:

    • BT is now more dangerous, with a new i12 punisher entering BT at +4, and BT43 no longer launch punishable, down to -12. Other buffs to fn3 and b4b help enter BT at plus too.

    SNA is now more dangerous as his i10 already gave him +5 in SNA but now with SNA 41f entering tiger at +4 as a low high natural combo, both punishes at i10 and i12 give him a strong situation.

TOURNAMENT INFO

  • Offline registrations can only be done at the KO Fight Night registration desk at DreamHack Delhi depending on the availability of slots and will be open from 12 NOON to 4 PM on 6th Dec 2019.
  • Players who have registered online are required to check in at the registration desk as early as possible in order to secure their slot.
  • Registrations will be limited to 256 players for SFV and Tekken 7 each and will be done on first come, first serve basis. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will have a 128 player cap.
  • The tournament matches will start after the formation of brackets once the registration closes.
  • In order to participate, players must purchase either a three day visitor pass or any BYOC/BYOD ticket.
  • No additional fee is required to participate in the tournament.
  • The games being featured are Street Fighter V – Arcade Edition, Tekken 7 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
  • You must bring your own controller for games played on all systems. Backup controllers will be provided in “as is” condition.
  • Players may be seeded at the discretion of the organizers and the tournament director based on past performances locally or internationally.
  • All games will be played on the default settings, unless otherwise specified, below.
  • All macros available via the in-game controller configuration menu are allowed.
  • Hardware programmable input entry, rapid-fire, or other hardware assisted mechanisms are strictly forbidden.
  • Accidentally pausing the game at any time during the fight will force you to forfeit the round.
  • Any player using “Random Select” to pick their character, must “Random Select” again if they win the match, provided that there is no way to pick a certain character in the random box.
  • Brook Converters are allowed. Cronus Max Plus and Titan One converters are banned.
  • There is a maximum of 30 seconds allowed between games in a set.

Fighters Showdown 2 – Pune

Welcome to round 2 of ‘FIGHTERS SHOWDOWN’. Join us in Pune as the best Fighting game players from India compete head-to-head in ‘Tekken 7’ to grab as many TWT points as possible with the winner getting a minimum of 25 to 100 depending on whether we hit 96+ registrants.

In addition to Tekken 7, we will also be having a tournament of ‘Super Smash Bros Ultimate’ on the same day.
