Though Khorwal faced a narrow 4-2 defeat against China’s XCC in his semifinal, he finished fourth after battling RenZoken in the bronze match. In the championship face-off, Bilal went head-to-head with defending champion XCC, ultimately finishing in second place and taking home the silver.
